Christian Claux entrusts Pango with the first capsule of the Gold Collection by CLX
The partnership between the French designer Christian Claux and the Italian savoir faire continues. After having entrusted the production of the Easy Wear women’s clothing line to the Franchi Filippo di Prato company, Claux announced that it had signed a licensing agreement with the Brescia-based Pango for the production of the first Gold Collection by CLX capsule.
“With a French touch, Christian Claux is inspired by the Hollywood atmosphere and the city of Los Angeles that he usually frequents. In fact, the project plans to present the collection also in the United States, where the CLX brand is already known ”, the press release issued.
Founded in 1974 by the entrepreneurial project of Gino Scotuzzi and Pietro Marzotto, Pango started its business as a manufacturer of trousers and skirts for wholesalers and large retailers. In 1997 the company launched the curvy Gaia Life line, which today represents about 50% of turnover. Subsequently, the Ten Ways to Be and Extesa brands were introduced, thanks to which the company is now one of the most important suppliers for the Italian version of the American television channel Qvc.
The company defines itself as a company « 30 kilometers away »: its production partners are in fact located within a radius of 30 kilometers from the headquarters and the garments are made with eco-sustainable and natural fabrics.
Present in large groups such as Sorelle Ramonda and Rinascente, for which Pango is among the first producers of the private label, for a total of about 400 realities including major brands and retail stores, Pango has 42 employees and in 2019 achieved a turnover of 11.7 million euros, 25% generated by the private label business.
The first fruits of the agreement, which has a five-year term that can be extended to another five years, will debut with the PE 2022 in Europe, Russia, Korea and Japan. The capsule collection consists of 20 models dedicated to a young and fashion woman, in which total black is the protagonist, enriched by gold details and transparencies.
